  • Primary User: A senior official (e.g., Deputy Secretary) who registers the organization on GeM and manages user roles.

  • Secondary Users: Individuals like Tender Executives who are assigned specific roles (e.g., Buyer, DDO, Consignee) by the Primary User to handle day-to-day operations.


📝 Step 2: Required Credentials for Secondary Users

Ensure you have the following:

  • Aadhaar Number: Linked to your mobile number for OTP-based verification.

  • Official Email ID: Preferably from the NIC domain (e.g., @gov.in or @nic.in).

  • Employee ID: Issued by your organization.

  • Designation: Your official role within the organization.

  • Mobile Number: Linked to your Aadhaar for OTP verification.
