Corrupt Shadows: A Night of Injustice and the Drug Nexus

It was just another evening. I had just arrived from somewhere and was waiting for transportation at a familiar location. The area was nothing unusual—people coming and going, life moving as it always does. But what happened next was beyond anything I could have imagined.

The Unjust Detention

Without any warning, three policemen approached me. Before I could even comprehend what was happening, they took me along with them without explanation. One of them snatched my laptop bag, while another held me so tightly, as if I were a dangerous criminal trying to escape. His grip was firm—painful even—making sure I had no way to resist.

Instead of taking me to the nearby police station, which was just a few steps away, they led me to a small shop-like area on the main road. It wasn’t a police station, nor was it any official location for interrogation. It was just a closed-off room where they carried out their own version of “justice.”

The False Accusation

Once inside, they went through my bag, checking every item with a suspicious gaze. And then, as if on cue, they produced drugs—something I had never seen in my life before—and accused me of possessing them.

"You are a drug peddler," one of them claimed.

"You use or sell drugs," another added, their eyes filled with malice.

I was shocked beyond words. How could they accuse me of something so absurd? But it didn’t stop there.

Stripped of Dignity

They ordered me to remove my clothes. First, my shirt and sweater. Then my trousers. And finally, even my undergarments. I stood there, stripped of my dignity, in that small room—completely vulnerable.

And then, they started beating me. Blow after blow, they tried to force me into accepting the crime.

"Just admit it," they said. "This belongs to you. Accept it, and we’ll settle this quickly."

I was helpless. I kept telling them I had nothing to do with any of this, but they wouldn’t listen. Their real motive soon became clear.

The Price of Freedom

"If you want to go home, settle this," one of them said.

I asked, "What do you mean by settle?"

"Money," he replied bluntly.

They had already decided I was someone important—after all, I work in the government tender sector. They assumed I made a lot of money and could easily pay whatever amount they demanded.

But their demands were not just about me. As I observed the surroundings, I saw something even more horrifying—people who were actually involved in drugs. Peddlers and addicts moved freely. And the police? They weren’t there to stop them. They were there to collect their share of the money.

The Drug Trade Protected by Lawkeepers

Right next to where they were interrogating me, drug dealing was happening openly. Young boys and girls—some as young as 18 or 19—were buying and using drugs. The police weren’t there to stop it; they were facilitating it.

It became clear that this was their routine. Every day, they would target someone, plant drugs on them, and extort money. And if someone refused? Jail time. A ruined life. A fabricated crime that would haunt them forever.

I realized then that I wasn’t just a victim of police brutality. I was witnessing an organized crime operation, run by those who were supposed to protect us.

A Nation at Risk

This isn’t just my story—it’s the story of a corrupt system that preys on innocent people while enabling the real criminals. If I had truly been caught with drugs, they would have taken me to the police station, filed an official case, and followed legal procedures. But there is no FIR. No paperwork. Nothing. Because their goal was never justice—it was money.

This is not just an issue of personal injustice. It is a national crisis. Our younger generation is being ruined by drugs, and the very people who should be stopping it are the ones allowing it to spread.

If anyone from the higher authorities, narcotics department, or honest police officials are reading this, please take action. I can show you where this happens, who is involved, and how this racket operates. I am ready to stand as a witness against this injustice.

This isn’t about one man’s struggle—it’s about saving our future generations. Drugs are being sold right in front of police stations. If a common man can see it, how can the police not? Or perhaps, they see everything—and choose to profit from it instead.

Time for Action

We cannot let this continue. We need to expose these corrupt officers and ensure that justice is served. I urge every responsible citizen to raise their voice against this system.

This is not just my fight. It’s a fight for every innocent person who has been wrongfully accused. It’s a fight for our youth, who are falling victim to addiction because of corrupt law enforcement.

If you have the power to help, step forward. If you know someone who can take action, share this story. Because silence will only allow this corruption to continue. And if we don’t act now, tomorrow it could be you, your friend, or your family caught in this vicious trap.

Important Message: Read & Take Action

This is not about gaining followers or likes. This is about exposing a serious issue and urging the right people to take action.

I will be publishing a detailed blog post about my experience, highlighting the corruption and illegal drug trade facilitated by certain police officers. The blog is not monetized—this is purely an effort to bring attention to a problem that affects our society.

We often hear the phrase "Say No to Drugs," but how can we fight against drugs when some officials responsible for enforcing the law are the ones enabling its spread?

What You Can Do:

  • Read the full blog post when I upload the link.
  • Take action if you have the power to do so.
  • Tag the right people—officials, law enforcement agencies, and activists who can help bring justice.

This is not just my fight—it is a national concern. If you truly care about the future of our youth and the integrity of our system, please read, share, and act.

Together, we can expose corruption and protect our society from this menace.

Thank you.
